So, Nicole and Kayden are staying with us and she gets a phone call around 5am Tuesday morning. Same officer that was at that was at the house on Sunday night. Seems that Chris fell asleep driving and totalled his truck after running into a utility pole. Chris is bruised, the truck is wrecked and thank God noone was injured. He has admitted to having a drug abuse problem, which is step one. He is actively seeking out an inpatient program that will help him deal with his pain, he has spinal stenosis, and to get himself cleaned up.
He spent the night at one facility, but after interviewing, was told it was a psych facility, not rehab and they sent him somewhere else this morning.
Nicole and Kayden are staying here indefinetly. She can't afford their place alone and doesn't even want to go back there. She will need prayers in dealing with the landlord. She says that even after all is said and done it will take alot of work to have a relationship with Chris again.
Please pray for both of them and say a special prayer that Chris will find the help he needs.

Adding my prayers. I think Maximillian Kolbe is the patron saint of those with addictions. I'll look it up.
