Ghosts at PCH

Working at PCH in the OR we have strange things happen at times. Especially in the evening when it is quiet, so ghosts are a fact of life in our department. We will be back in the rooms and hear someone moving around in another room, or quiet talking and there is noone there. Little things.

Sergio told me today that one of the security guards quit because of a ghost on the elevator. Apparently he was on the elevator and the doors opened at the 3rd floor. There was a little girl standing there and he asked her where her mom was. She didn't say anything, the doors closed and he rode up to the 5th floor. The same little girl was there when the doors opened. He asked her again, and she got onto the elevator with him. The doors closed, and she exited somewhere around the 4th floor, right through the doors while they were closed. The security guard went to the office, turned in his badge and hasn't been back.

Meanwhile, in the outpatient building a janitor was cleaning and there was another little girl standing at the end of the hall. She yelled at him to follow her and proceeded to disappear thru the wall. He too left. But, he came back and said he will still work there, just not alone at night in the outpatient building. He also came back wearing a cross and religious medals!!

Dr. Singh had her baby today. She had a boy, and I only asked if they were both ok......I went to work and everyone wanted details.........LOL. I just didn't think to ask. Kristin had to see Dr. Beals in her place and he said that the boobs look great. He also told her how to care for them, and she needs to go back again in 2 weeks. She is a happy camper.

I am off to make my hotel reservations for when I am in San Fran.
